75 People attended, mostly younger commercial breeders. Interesting and stimulating talk given by Breed Director on the use of registered, purebred, performance tested bulls versus crossbred bulls. Angus crossbred Brahman cattle were viewed thereafter with a judging competition held. The Angus crossbred calves were the heaviest.

A truly fascinating experience where 1 000 Angus steaks were sold in ONE day! Day was organised by Chris Purdon of Veejay Angus, the biggest supplier of performance tested, registered Angus bulls in the Eastern Cape.
